Start using VespAI
We are still developing VespAI, and will provide a full guide soon, however if you want to try building a preliminary version, then follow the instructions below.
Guide coming soon
Code
VespAI is built with PyTorch to enable deployment on edge devices. The detection code is open access and available for free. Visit the GitHub repository to download the VespAI software and start making detections through the Python interface with a few simple steps.
Hardware
VespAI will run on most Windows and Linux devices. For remote deployment, we recommend using a Raspberry Pi 4 or 5. These offer a range of peripherals and power options. Read the guide for information on suggested processor and camera configurations.
Setup
The VespAI monitoring station can be built using a few simple off-the-shelf items. Providing that the optic dimensions are kept consistent, there is considerable design flexibility. A full list of these dimensions and detailed assembly instructions will be provided soon.
